How does a student register or transfer to Fort Hill? A parent/guardian must come into the main office and complete the PMF1 registration form and sign a Release of Records form. They must bring the child’s birth certificate, social security card, immunization record and a current proof of residence (utility bill with parents name and address along with a current date) |

Homecoming is the 10th game of the football season and is played against the cross town rival Allegany Campers. Festivities begin the weekend before the game on Friday and Saturday where parents can decorate their child’s locker and the homecoming decorating committee decorates the halls. Saturday the band host an all you can eat spaghetti dinner. Monday – Friday of homecoming week the senior class chooses themes for each day. Friday afternoon concludes with annual powder puff game between the senior girls and the junior girls. Friday the cheerleaders hold their annual Beef barbeque from 12-6. Friday evening ends with the pep rally at 7 p.m. hosted by the cheerleaders. Homecoming morning begins with both bands practicing their pre-game shows as well as the National Anthem played together. Following practice the Fort Hill band returns to the band room for its annual bunch and then prepares to head to the stadium for the start of pre-game. Kick off is at 12:30 pm. The homecoming dance concludes the weeks events that evening at 8 p.m. in the old gym.

What do I do if my student is absent? A parent must call the attendance office 301-777-8012 to report the student absent. If no phone call is received a call is placed to the parent verifying the absence. |

How many days can a student be absent? Parents are notified by a letters sent from the central office at the Board of Education at 8, 12, and 15 days. |

How and when do students select courses for the following year? In early spring the school counselors will meet with each student to discuss their schedule for the upcoming year. The student will then take the course selection sheet home to discuss with their parents and the parents sign and the student returns the form to the guidance office. |
