The objectives of the Instructional Technology Department are
- to provide leadership for the successful integration of technology in order to improve student achievement and workforce excellence.
- to provide administrators, teachers, and staff with professional development opportunities in technology integration that support research-based instructional practices.
- to facilitate the identification of needs that can be addressed through technology.
- to ensure that the seamless integration of technology is aligned with state standards.
- to support in the implementation of the Maryland Educational Technology Plan for the new millennium: 2007-2012.
